Experts believe the world may be on the verge of a 'hybrid World War 3' which could result in a 'radioactive Europe', a report has warned.

Russian president Vladimir Putin continues his fight against Ukraine as he pushes troops into Donetsk. But the move could lead to a radioactive Europe or all-out war with NATO countries. Areas of Europe could become an "ecological catastrophe" if Putin overcomes defending Ukrainian forces. Experts, however, say his could lead to copycat wars elsewhere in the world.

World thinktank Globsec reckons a "sudden drop" in aid packages to Ukraine from the West could be the trigger for a Russian victory. The organisation says it would leave an "actual nuclear threat" in Russia's hands after its withdrawal from nuclear deterrence treaties. Those nuclear threats may continue to grow as the aftershock of Ukraine's war loss spreads rapidly through Europe. Polish President Andrzej Duda has already stated he will launch nuclear missiles if necessary, and radioactive "contamination" may follow.

The Daily Star reports Globsec's analysis read: "Continuing risks of nuclear contamination in Europe, caused by artificially provoked technogenic catastrophes (like on Zaporizhzhya NPP) with consequent after-effects of humanitarian and ecological catastrophe on the entire continent."

Experts believe as Russia expands into other parts of Europe an all-out war with NATO not excluding "nuclear components" will begin, Other wars may start in other parts of the world too while alliances between Russia and North Korea formalised.

The group warned "Russia might feel ready at some point to attack other states like Georgia, Kazakhstan and Moldova," and a "conventional war of NATO countries with Russia" would increase. The Globesco group says the chances of a peace treaty being tabled by Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy's this year are next to none.

The Non Governmental Organisation also says elections in other countries will hinder his chances of producing the Peace Formulae. Experts wrote: "Peace talks with Russia will have no real perspective and will not be supported by almost the entire population of Ukraine." The Mirror reported last month that Finland's national airline Finnair was temporarily suspending flights to Estonia's second-largest city after two of its planes were prevented from landing in Tartu because of GPS disruptions blamed on Putin

GPS interference forced the two flights to return to Helsinki last Thursday and Friday and cause was not immediately known, but Estonian officials blame GPS jamming in the region on Russia. Plane approaches to Tartu Airport currently rely on GPS signals, said Finnair, which is the only airline to fly there.

The airline said it would suspend daily flights there so an alternate solution can be installed at the airport. Jari Paajanen, Finnair’s director of operations said “Most airports use alternative approach methods, but some airports, such as Tartu, only use methods that require a GPS signal to support them.”
